Phone calls and errands
My day yesterday was one of phone calls from my sister Betty who is so hoarse after her Easter concert and putting up a cross outside the church, Sara Dyer and Adam Dyer and going to do errands with Matt Porter and visiting with him about what BSC will do without him! I had two funeral visitations but I sent contributions! It is difficult for me to stand forever in a line like I used to do! My back rebels!

Sitting here early in the morning waiting for Gloria to come!
It is Tuesday! Gloria Shirrell has come to work for me for umpteen years and used to work for my sister, Jennie also. Before that Elsie Koch worked for me! I know that I don't have to turn a tap on Tuesday unless I want to! And I can read or go somewhere and let someone else change the beds and dust and run the vacuuming! Those are things I hate to do!
Thanks, Gloria, for your faithfulness! You have made my life easier!

Sometimes you need a day to work at home!
Yesterday was that day! Matt and I did errands in the morning and Karel came and did Easter decorating that afternoon! She even took my Interview Outfits to the Safehouse and they were so happy to get them! Why would I continue to keep good clothes when someone needs them to get a job?

Homecoming Steering committee chairs
I have had lunch on two days with two of my HSC chairs: Jim McCausland and Jayne Schrader! Now they are on Fb squabbling over which one I loved the most! Just like old times! The funny thing is it tickles me! Those students became a part of me and I like to remember them the way they were! Like Barbara Streisand and the movie with Redford!

Sunday morning rest
I like days when I get up and have very little on my calendar! Then I can make choices for myself if I want to watch the babble of election returns or clean out the closet or sit and wait for someone to come by!
I have BSC chapel and St pats party at 5 and at and t Man is coming to cut down trees in my backyard which are messing up our land line phones and causing static and I have to be here! He came yesterday but his ladder broke.
Yea, Jim Stacy has quit smoking! Stay after it Jim! Great talking to you yesterday.

And the world moves on
I am a sucker for punishment! I stayed up and watched the Republican debate last night and Kasick did have a policy of sanity! It is a zoo! So I'm having company from St. Louis today: we lost the game in Nashville yesterday--I watched on Ovc Channel and then comes the weekend! Megan, second cheerleader from left, is my scholarship recipient!
