Aches and pains

I helped pull out the Xmas decorations yesterday and today I have on my back brace and knee brace!  But the house is looking good!   I hope I look good as days go by!

Yeah, like I could get up in the attic and get stuff out!  I've got Karel and Heather both coming today and let's hope we can hire someone else!

Anyway , I have put all the thanksgiving stuff away and I'm ready to work!  Got my jeans on and it's raining outside!

Monte Seabaugh

I spent Thanksgiving Day with Bev Hickam and her family!  Then today I went out to coffee with Monte Seabaugh!  Both of them worked with me in the Alumni Office and I love them both dearly in spite of all the stories they tell on me!

Monte and I went to Rhodes and we visited,also, with John Lohr!  He added to the stories! It was a fun holiday!

Dinner with Bev Hickam

Ate lunch  with Bev Hickam and her family and enjoyed it so much!  Got home too late to see Annie and her kids!   Talked to all three sisters this morning!

Today is the day to get it done!

I have a full day to get it done!  Yesterday I went to Rhodes with Trudy Lee and gossiped while Gloria cleaned the house! Then I came home and watched the Ferguson riots all the rest of the day and night!   I am sorry for the killing of Michael Brown but I empathize with the cop in a way since I saw the video of his stealing stuff just a few minutes before and shoving the saleswoman!  He didn't deserve to be shot dead but he is not without blame!  

This incident has electrified the country!

Not quite the Grinch!

I say I am not the Grinch but I tell everyone that I refuse to start thinking about Christmas until Thanksgiving is over!   Then why do I have a laundry room filled with gifts!  I have no idea!

Sure, I'm buying gifts for Santa for the children in pediatrics but what other things do I have!  Loads for everyone!

Turning problems over to someone else!

I did today what I need to do daily!  I turned my problems over to someone who can take care of me in the way he sees fit!  I feel confident in my choice!

His eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches me!   My mother in law when she was young!
