Maundy Thursday

Last night I went to a Maundy Thursday service at the Baptist Student Center and it was a little eerie to take communion and listen to familiar Scriptures with international students who were of different cultural religions.  The meal was Mediterranean and the students lapped it up especially the falafel and the stuffed grape leaves!  They listened intently but most from a distance!

The foot washing was a new experience to them--they kept their distance which made me reach out to be the first volunteer!
